Chiclet is the most recent addition to our home... and we just LOVE LOVE LOVE this little girl!
She was a friendly stray who just started hanging around our back yard a couple of years ago.
One day, Jess decided that Chiclet would have
a much better and safer life among the ranks of our indoor kitties... so we scooped her up,
brought her to the vet, and had her checked out. Thankfully, she was disease-free and had no
microchip. Today, she is our official cuddle muffin, a warm furry repository of "motors and love", as we call it.
One of the big reasons we decided to take Chiclet in was that she had sustained a
laceration on one side of her face.
Today, the wound has long healed, but you can still see some
scarring on one of her eyes. We're not sure if this has compromised her vision, but she is definitely
not hampered in any other way that we can tell.
As a rule, all of our cats are strictly indoor creatures. This is just a basic of responsible
cat ownership. Chiclet is a perfect example of why we feel the way we do.
