Squeaky was the third addition to our feline family. Originally, he lived next door. When our neighbors moved, we were happy to give him a brand new home.

An interesting story about this handsome little boy: The neighbor who owned him worked for a veterinarian, and she was once told that Squeaky was born with a heart murmur which would eventually be fatal. At one point, the decision was almost made to euthanize him (thankfully, our neighbor opted not to make that choice). When we first took Squeaky in, one of our first orders of business was to take him to our own vet, who promptly determined that Squeaky was perfectly healthy, with no heart problems or health issues at all!

Today, Squeaky continues to bring us much joy as our "Welcome Wagon" kitty (he is the one who is most likely to greet you when you come to visit). The living room is his domain... and we wouldn't have it any other way.
